If you're or someone you know is having trouble receiving Patra email on your Android-based phone, follow these instructions to get it back up and running again. 



Step 1: Reboot the device 

 

Reboot the device by holding down the power button for 5 seconds, or until the screen goes dark

Turn on the device by holding the power button for another 5 seconds

Try using the app

If the issue persists, move to step 2

 

Step 2: Check for updates

 

Check for app updates by navigating to the Play Store and searching for the app

If the app has an available update, tap the "Update" button in the upper right corner

Once updated, try using the app again

If the issue persists, move to step 3

 

Step 3: Clear cache and data

 

Clear the cache and data by navigating to Settings > (Apps or Manage Applications)

Tap on the app in which the issue is occuring

Tap 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data'

Try using the app
